We'll find somewhere around Broken Hill that feels like the two of you, catch the evening light, and spend half an hour to an hour walking, talking and being close. I'll guide you the whole way, so you won't be left wondering what to do with your hands.

Getting ready

What to wear

Wear something you feel like yourselves in, then dress up one notch. Complementary colours look better than identical outfits; one of you in a soft neutral and the other in a deeper tone works beautifully against red earth and blue sky. Flowing fabrics catch the wind and the light. Avoid large logos and very bright neon.

01Can we use this as our engagement session?

Absolutely. Many couples use it for save-the-dates or to show at the wedding, and it's a relaxed way to get to know each other before the day.

02Can we bring a prop or change outfits?

Yes. A change of outfit works well in a one-hour session. Props that mean something to you, such as a picnic, a guitar or the car you met in, are always welcome.

03How long until we get our photographs?

I aim to have your gallery to you within four weeks. If anything holds that up, I'll be in touch with an updated date rather than leave you wondering.

04How many photographs will we receive?

Family, couples and maternity sessions come with a gallery of around 50 or more professionally edited photographs, and every one of them can be downloaded from your online gallery.
